This entire album has been about the Middle East. And in those lands the Prince of Peace came to earth. This is my desire that they come to know Him who loves them all.

I used to write a song for every Christmas for about 4 or 5 years in a row. I'm reinstating that for this year at least.

A short, simple song of confidence in the Lord during these times of stress.

This is a song that comes out of the pain of watching what is happening in Gaza and Israel. The political leaders, the pundits, and the media make for a cacophony of confusion.

I've always loved the verse this song is based upon. Every promise of the Lord proves true, he is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
