I believe this is one of the pretties songs I've written, but it has lain around since 2003 and has not been uploaded to the Internet until now. I'll explain why below.

This is a song highlighting, perhaps celebrating, the differences between my wife and I.

You can smell winter in the air. It's exhilarating and disturbing. This song attempts to capture both aspects of my mood.

It's odd how songs come to me. I was falling asleep when this one came. The next day it basically produced itself.

The biblical story of Ruth is one of the most beautiful and poignant stories I've ever read.

Every now and then I like to throw in an instrumental.

Not easy...thinking of how we have been welcoming judgment. Musically, the notes in this track are landing places that became chords. The second half uses a glitch VST that I really, really love.
