This song, like most of mine, is based on a true story. It's about the drive along Interstate 40 between Winston-Salem and across the Tennessee line. Just your basic good old country song about lost love.

Mid tempo song about being a singer in college and being in love. The guitar thing lasts but the love doesn't.

We've all gotten the "It's not you, it's me" line. This song is about going back to that person that broke your heart and asking for a goodbye that they can live with.

I've taken a few months off from songwriting. Needed to feel fresh again. This song just came to me as I've moved around the past few years. I think alot of people can relate to it. Maybe EVERYBODY can!
