Beachcomber

My brass section and a lone jazz guitarist repeat a long riff from which there is no escape. My fretless bass guitarist has all the fun developing his theme. My drummer brushes through without damage.

*REMASTERED Punchy simple pop piano, bass, drums. Very few notes here, a trance-ey repeat, three little bridges, snappy drummy ending.

Aggressive driving format exploring all aspects of the title. The drumming holds a tight pattern yet varies tonally. Seriously long funk piano breaks. Gradually builds to climax, fades thereafter.

A tone poem for our electric orchestra. a flute and plucked string are overtaken by a horn and strings. A transition to a heavy rich string chord progression, and a transition back, ending up with a pastoral pipe.

An electric rock sextet guitar and bass back a feisty sax rendition of a waltz-time raindance, with a recklessly explosive drummer who holds himself back (almost!) for a shattering climax. Simple theme, but the chordal expansion goes on and on!

It's a strange Celtic reel (another riff without escape) played by a slowly accumulating electric orchestra, which departs suddenly, leaving sad blue strings to fade away into the distance.

Heavy guitar echo backing, slow but inevitable chord progression, grungy keyboard solos, ending in lead/bass guitar duet dancing into the distance with sad piano chords.

An electric jazz orchestra has fun . . . . .

*REMASTERED - An electric jazz quintet plays a distinctive and idiosyncratic waltz-time melody, which climaxes early, restates itself powerfully, and then recedes gently into the distance. An unusual sixtime, ten bar loop.
