"James Hollingsworth plays a darn mean acoustic guitar and knows his way inventively around his pedals. He's an energetic and animated front man and has a fine set of vocal chords. His music was one of the weekends highlights." - Andy Read Winters End Festival
James has always impressed us with his thoughtful & lyrical songs. Superb singing & delicate guitar work make for a captivating performance. - Seend Acoustic
Fascinating one man band James Hollingsworth conjures some wonderful soundscapes with guitar effects and loops to create colour and build the suspense. - Somerset Guardian

Hypnotic groove munching guitar space freakouts plus glorious songwriting within........ A one man orchestra, a sonic soundscape, the beats, the bangs and overall....... the songs www.wunderbar.co.uk
I started making noises from an early age, moved on to piano, violin, then later guitar, harmonica, bass, flutes, percussion - performed in clubs, bars, festivals in various guises - As For The Owls, The Mushroom Jam, The Unlimited Dream Company, The Electric Druids, JEBO and later solo, from Swansea via Bristol, now to Frome in the Somerset hills.
Gigs well into 4 figures now, not sure how many. RAH was amazing with JEBO, but every pub pub gig where I get the crowd up and dancing, or shouting for more makes all the driving and gear-hefting worthwhile!
Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds! Prog! Rhythm And Blues! Then later Folk, Acoustic, Jazz and now pretty much any genre can influence me as long as it touches the human spirit
Mostly acoustic guitar with my voice, and some harmonica when I can get away with it.
My new album Thirteen Moons (remixed/remastered for 2021) - see my website for details!
