Artie(MI)
Artie is a band that started in the small town of marine city, MI. together since april of 2003, the band has been making a name of itself in the southeast area of michigan. Playing everywhere from clutch cargoes in Pontiac, MI to Hamilton St. Cafe in Bound Brook, NJ, they are constantly working hard to make themselves heard. Artie is band that strives to be original in a world where everything has been done before.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
yes. Anywhere, mostly in the blue water/detroit area. Playing live is a big part of Artie's music. Their live show is definately something to talk about, and in a word, intense.
Your musical influences
There are a wide range of influences that are all evident in their music. Everything from Poison the Well, to At The Drive-in, to jazz artists Blackman & Arnold.
