Arthur Loves Plastic
Arthur Loves Plastic is a Washington DC based techno project that remixes other bands and has released 5 albums of solo material. ALP's latest album, Klondyke 5, features vocals from the award-winning celtic/folk vocalist Lisa Moscatiello.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Bev Stanton recorded Arthur Loves Plastic's first project, Sperm Warfare, in her basement, and it was released in Europe by Britain's TEQ Music. After the label ceased operations, Stanton began independently releasing her own product. So far ALP has put out 5 albums: The Zero State, Professor Fate, The Complete Teflon Diva, Slice, and Klondyke 5. Slice won the 1998 Washington Area Music Award for best recording in the Techno/Electronic category. Her current vocalist is the award-winning celtic folksinger Lisa Moscatiello.
