I've been a singer, guitarist, percussionist, and songwriter for Celtic-American folk rock band Emerald Rose since 1996; my major instrument for the band is the bodhran, or traditional Irish frame drum. Being a singer-songwriter, however, has been part of my musical life since I was a teenager, and my solo endeavors return to this root. Many of my songs take their inspiration from the mystical path, Earth-centered spirituality, and Celtic mythology. I also continue to sing songs from the Celtic and American folk traditions. In addition, I'm a storyteller, stage magician, and former actor and dancer, so I have many performance skills to draw on.Have you performed in front of an audience?I love performing live, whether it's at a coffee house, pub, theater, festival, party, or house concert. There's nothing like being in the moment, making music and connecting with an audience! I also enjoy presenting shows that integrate music, storytelling, and magic, or music and Celtic/bardic history.

Several nights ago I was walking the dog very late at night and the dark clouds kept floating back & forth across the surface of the full moon in the sky. You could see the moon, you couldn't see the moon. Kind of a macbre peek-a-boo. All I could think of was "Dagger of the Moon." It's been years since you all have done that! The mix on this album, Arthur, is simply unbelievable, the layering of your voice...I don't know the technical terms but superb. Love the female seminary student in "Circle of Love", "Blood of Summer", "Greenwood Woman" and could listen to "Pantheon" constantly & never grow tired or uninspired. Awen, Awen! You should be very pleased with yourself because it's a first class production, Mr. Renaissance Man. I'm enjoying doing GoodReads with dancingwriter. You & the band really should expand to Facebook as well! Hope to hear you soon at the Moon.
Sweet sound! Great job.
Hi Arthur, I was just checking to see if Damh the Bard had a Soundclick page, and I found you instead - glad I did! Very lovely music you have here. All the best from Jeremy and Poitin
