[aria of dissonance] is composed of four band members. caloy the vocalist, mai the bassist, tikyo the guitarist and vener the drummer. they were formed last october 2005. but during that time they were five(5) they had another guitarist named izer who on the latter part of december decided to quit due to conflicts at school. they were known before as "arkanyne" a term they just joked around and got stucked with for three months.m/ arkanyne was from a pokemon character arcanine,they just changed the spelling.
with already five compositions with themes from the heart..:) from caloy, they are ready to let the public hear their musicality...m/Your musical influences
Those who've heard us play commented that we sound like valley of chrome.. However we feel that we sound nothing much like them except our musical style can be a bit similar to them.. As much as we know, aodissonance sounds only like aodissonance.
our musical influences are bands like mudvayne,staind,disturbed and valley of chrome.What equipment do you use?
a vintage guitar ( from our vox's dad..);
a vintage metal plus distortion (still from our vox's dad) although sometimes it doesn't work..; a new bass guitar (our bassist bought a new one due to the sole reason that the equipment she was using before was sorta had one pick-up that was malfunctioning..; another vintage musical equipment --which is our blue drumset, again courtesy of our vox's dad.. we use 3 speakers , 2 of which are made by tito ben and 1 was just a scrap..; a mixer for the bass and mic; and a amp for the guitar.Anything else?
