Area Grey is a louisville, ky, based band,they formed in 2000, and released there first 3 song cd in the spring mof 2002,enjoying tons of airtime on 2 local radio stations lrs105.1, and 100.5 the fox, the local scene is huge and ,and area grey hung tuff with some of the areas best, but never got over the hump,now with a fresh start and some lineup changes, area grey has regrouped with new members Steve harris, on guitar, Lance Carmen, on bass, and Garret Skinz, on the drums, and original front man, Marty Triplett, on vocals ,Area Grey will began recording , in march of 2005, the new material rocks and is radio bound! there new sound is different from the old grey, they went from standard tune to a drop d and started rockin harder than ever,new tunes cumin soon to a radio near you!Band/artist history

Area Grey will pounce you in 2005Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, its easy to burn out though , so were selective ,we love playing out, and exposure, is great,a big crowd makes you feel special and a small crowd can frustrate you, but we understand the small time, weve recieved enuff support that were confident in are special talent as a group, we have played at and have had many moments, but the bands first radio interview was a long awaited dream, of mine personaly, my rock n roll dreams are cuming true at an alarming rate , getting signed and famous are only the big 2 dreams but many more than that have already came to pass!
