Architects of the Atmosphere

Architects of the Atmosphere is the ambient/electronic project of David Rullo and Richard Reifenstein. The band was formally known as Cyberia.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Architects of the Atmosphere have performed together for close to two years. Before forming this ambient project Rullo and Reifenstein wrote and recorded as Digital Buddha and Evolving Mechanix. Their music is influenced by Tangerine Dream, Peter Namlook, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, The Orb, Pink Floyd and countless others. The band began improvising live electronic ambient pieces but quickly evolved to their present state. Their music is written in the studio by improvising live and then taking the basic tracks, editing and reworking them, adding instrumentation, soft synths, sequencers, etc. Architects of the Atmosphere currently has two CDs availabe, "Stellar Evolution" and "Signals from Cydonia" and are working on their newest release "Galileo's Moons" which will be released on Rullo's label, Orbiting Vertex.
