Boston born Ara was raised in the "City of Champions" in fact Ara comes from a legacy of survivors. Ara's father, a professional musician played saxophone and bass guitar. Ara a musical prodigy, has been singing and harmonizing since the age of five, and amazing all with her ability. As a child Ara won numerous talent shows, and continues to win over fans with her fusion of smooth vocals and intensely soulful R&B rhythms. Ara's story is one of survival, surviving love, surviving life, and "Surviving The Game". Ara has been writing and performing her own music since the age of 14, her vocal dexterity ranges from pure angelic tones to raw street angst, her sound...as unique as her name! Ara counts Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and Faith Evans among her influences. Encouraged by their success and talent she is determined to forge her own way towards success as well. With ballads like "My Heart..."and "4U" Ara communicates heartfelt emotions. "So in Love" and "Boyfriend" are edgy and up tempo add a touch of the old school appeal of "Tonight’s The Night" and you have just the beginning of a musical experience called ARA!....

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I play live. I have done shows in Boston, Atlanta, and Florida. I love live performance. I love connecting with the audience and taking moments out to say special conscious things to people cause when you have attention like that I feel it's a moment to say something that will touch your audience. Something real.
Your musical influences
