We are A Pocket Sized Sun from Berlin (Germany).
We are:
Ju - 8-String-Guitar, grunts, voice
Jakob - 8-String-Guitar, snarls, singing
Daniel - Drums, singing
Johannes - Bass
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Events of interesst in their correct order:
- End 2010:
Daniel and Jakob meet again after years and decide to found something new.
- End 2011:
Throught Jakobs girfriend Ju is discovered. He is a bass-player, but after some beer he decides to play the guitar.
- Ju has the idea of buying 8-String-Guitars, the sonic-raping is about to begin.
- later in 2011:
Ju brings Johannes into the band, he plays bass and sticks with it.
- The band enters a bunker in south-berlin and calls it "rehearsal-room".
- They chose to call themselves A Pocket Sized Sun
- October 2011:
The band records it's first promo-record together with sound-engineer Thomas Gutmann.

Mostly classic thrash, death and power metal stuff. Think Nevermore, Carcass, Megadeth, Arch Enemy, old In Flames, Mastodon......continue yourself ;)
