Progressive Rock

Apis Ante Portas is my one-man project - it's the way how i express my self since i can't really find any proper band to be in... i'm not one of those guys who make their music for themselves so here i am - on the soudclick!

Band/artist history

on the internet since christmas 2008... firstly struggling for finding my sound... hell, i was struggling to find out what do i even play!

Have you performed in front of an audience?

I don't play live. First - i can't find musicians, second - i can't really imagine if it'd work

Your musical influences

it'd be along list... but i can try to find some important musicians...

Porcupine tree, Karnivool, Tool, Incubus, Buckethead, Dave Gilmour and Pink floyd, Steve Vai, Dream Theater and John Petrucci, Periphery, alot of post-rock bands including Mogwai, Maserati, Jakob, Explosions in the sky...

What equipment do you use?

It changes, but right now i'm playing older Yamaha Pacifica 302S tele... suits me like nothing else did so far. Then i run it through some effects by EHX, Visua sound, Mars effects, Boss... into my Laney VC30 combo. For the recrding of AAP i run it directly from pedalbard to PC, using cubase with alot of VSTis... then i use some rubbish like a cheap bass, MIDI keyboard etc... whatever

Anything else?

Um... i don't really know what am I doing here.. i mean in this world. I hope that one day i find some musicians that i really click with and then could find out what is my purpose here!
