I am A. Patrick Dohmen.
I do mainly solo stuff, which I compile on yearly CDs that I carry arounf with me sometimes. I am trained and experienced in piano, and I have played since I was 3.
The only times I've played live for more than ten people were a couple times at my church once, and an impromptu talent show and an evening "Coffee House" at Marquette University HS. As for liking it, yeah, I do.
I like nearly all types of music, and listen to almost everything from Korn to Gustav Mahler. My favorite genres are jazz and electronica.
By the way, there are a couple of unsigned bands/artists that I feel I must recommend here:
Bunky, a two-person garage band in San Diego, CA, www.bunkymusic.com;
Master Zap, a Swedish electronic artist/everything else that deals with computers, whose music can be found on this very site.
I use a Tascam PocketStudio 5 digital multitracker, a Yamaha Portatone PSR-510 (I think it's nearly eleven years old!), an old Weber upright piano that's in perfect condition, a 1100-GHz AMD Athlon computer for re-recording and mixing and making CD's and stuff like that.
