Anye
Anye is the newest introduction to SoundClick. With a sound that combines current hip hop with pop ballads. Anye likes to experiment with different sounds. Listener should take note of his lyrics which he wrote himself. And if you listen closely you might catch a bit of his multi octave range.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Raised in South West Philly I lived life like everybody else. I currently operate out of florida.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I do enjoy performing live. It gives me a chance to dance and connect with the people who are listening to my music.
Your musical influences
Most of my influence I have to admit comes to from Mariah Carey which I think comes through in the first song I released to soundclick entititled "Deprived". I'm able to do the whistle thing so I do it occasionally. I like what Usher and company are doing but I can't say I have to many influences.
What equipment do you use?
I produce the majority of tracks at my own studio which I call Phoenix Nest.
