ANTONIO ROSALES
Antonio Roales an Award winning recording artist from Yukon, OK and just like Garth an other Oklahoman with a great voice. The band name is Firecreek and after 10 years of burning up the night club sceen Antonio stepped out front to become one of Oklahomas best Country Acts. Recording his first CD in Nashville Tenn. with a 1999 release on Dreamscape Records LTD. NYC had 2 # 1 hits on most all the indie charts and receiving airplay in over 23 different countries including the U S. Winner of 8 different Awards including OCA Male Vocalist of the Year in 2001 in Nashville Tn.and Peerless Vocal Award in Nashville by Indie Tracker Magazine in 2002. Antonio received 4 differnet Awards in Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Country Music Association Awards in 2003 Entertainer of the Year as well as Male Vocalist of the year. Recording his most recent CD in Oklahoma using all Oklahoma based musicians he has another big one on his hands Sacrifice To Survival is truely a great CD of which Antonio wrote 9 of the 13 songs of which 2 cuts were for movies yet to be released. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Band was first put together in 1990 and started booking gigs in 91 and even going through many different types of changes the band kept rockin' Antonio being one of 4 different vocalist in the band finally moved to the front if the band was going to survive and find an identity, After Antonio recorded his first CD the band found the going tough trying to book gigs that alowed playing their own music, even though the fans wanted it the club owners didn't but they kept right on truckin' doing their own style of Country music mixed with the hits of yesterday and today. The band felt their music fit right in to what they were already doing and the fans loved it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live all over Okla, to Nashville and overseas. We have toured Norway, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and also Saudi Arabia. too many to list they are all special to me
Your musical influences
We are not a rockem shockem type of band and our influences are more audlt like Ronnie Milsap, Steve Warnier, George Strait, with a touch of Blues and some great classic Rock
