Anthony Maloney
I am Studio Musician, but once in a great while i will come across a musician that i will jam with. I cut a few tracks with my friends Leland and Dennis LittleRaven, but other than that I am in need of a few serious musicians to get things together.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Not much of a band history, but I have played with a few good Native American Musicians. Most of these guys are back in Arizona and I am here in Seattle. Some day i will come across them again. Maybe then the music will grow wings and fly.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I jammed a few gatherings, other than that nothing to large and fancy. Maybe in the future, right now my talent is going to remain in the studio.
Your musical influences
As a child i was brought up around a lot of rock and roll oldies and a good mixture of old country. So this is where my style is. Now days i am jammin more of the blues, stuff like Indigenous, Jonny Lang, Eric Clapton, and all the other good stuff. I am sticking with the Native part of my music though, so most of all I stick with Indigenous's style of playing.
Anything else?
Even though I play the cheap guitars, the music will still be heard. The music must play on...
