Anthony De La Garza
Anthony De La Garza is a singer/songwriter/ guitarist/drummer who plays out of Fargo, ND. He has been playing guitar since 2001 after taking a break from drumming. In 2006 he recorded his debut album entitled "Ninastasis", it was recently put into production and is available to buy through Anthony by contacting him here. Anthony's music is self-described as Acoustic/ Psychedelic because of the use of vivid imagery and the effects of the vocals and guitars recorded in the music. There's a lot of passion that goes into his songs and the end result is somewhat that he is very proud of. Have a listen and if you like what you hear, remember that his debut album is available for purchase. It contains 10 original tracks. There are also B-sides available as well. Anthony is currently working on his follow up album entitled "Lenneth" which he hopes to have finished at the end of the summer of 2007. Thanks for listening! Give Anthony a comment if you have any questions.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm currently playing live at numerous open mics/jams in the area including, Mike's Pizza in East Grand Forks, MN. Urban Stampede, GF, The Red Raven Espresso Parlour, Fargo, ND, The Aquarium, Fargo, Playmakers House Of Rock, Fargo. I'm currently in the process of booking my summer tour lineup. The Red Raven in Fargo is definitly my fave place to play live so far. The audience is great and its an all around positive atmosphere. I can remember a time where the P.A wasn't working and I played unplugged and the crowd was very much into it and I had the best time ever playing that night.
Your musical influences
My musical influences differ depending on what instrument I'm playing. For guitar its Our Lady Peace, Duncan Sheik, Blind Melon and Toad The Wet Sprocket. For drums, its Our Lady Peace, Smashing Pumpkins, Filter, Black Sabbath and Soundgarden.
What equipment do you use?
I use Alvarez, Samick and ESP guitars, Crate Amps, Shure Microphones, Pearl Drums, Paiste Cymbals and Vic Firth 7A sticks.
Anything else?
I'd like to get my 'Lenneth' album recorded by 2009. Its been in the works since 2007.
