Animated Backdrops
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Animated Backdrops was started by RightMind and Technic in early 2005. They had previously been two of the founding partners in a production company based out of Winter Park, FL. They both seperated from the company for personal reasons and after a period of time rejoined to record their long awaited debut group album. After considering whether to pursue a major label contract or not, they decided to use the contacts and connections they had built up over the years and to release the album independently through their own company, Animated Backdrops. While working on their album, they began recording and producing other artists. This led to the formal creation of Animated Backdrops Recordings. They are currently expanding to include all forms of media, ie. Books, Film, Audio, Digital, etc.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Tech used to play live but He's a little upset with EA for buying out the NFL Rights. ESPN was clearly a better game. Rumor of a War can be seen in various venues throughout the Raleigh Durham area.

Prince, Mozart, Emery, UnderOath, Miles Davis, Rza, Run DMC, Portishead, Yolonda Adams, Jimi Hendrix, The Jacksons and others.
