Angelo Santelli
My name is Angelo Santelli, I made this personal soundclick so I could put little bits of me playing up if I felt the need. In Kalamazoo I play with my blues-rock and jam-band group Marble Garden, along with guesting with other acts in the area. In Knoxville, TN I play with my dad, the immensely talented Tommy Santelli. In Sarasota, FL I guest with many very fine players.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Founded in 2007
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live with my band Marble Garden (Facebook.com/MarbleGarden). We're a blues/rock jam-band sort of thing. We have dual lead guitars, I play all the slide as well.
Your musical influences
Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Derek Trucks & Stevie Ray Vaughan are the big ones. Also, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Berry Oakley, Elmore James.
What equipment do you use?
2005 Gibson SG '61 RI with WCR Fillmore pickups direct into a modified (Marshall-ized) 1976 Fender Bassman 10. Pedals may include a Fulltone Mini-Deja Vibe, Carbon Copy analog delay, Boss TU-2 tuner, Moog MF-102 Ring Modulator or Maestro PS-1 phase shifter.
(from 2007:)
