Angel Fallen formed as a complete unit in the summer of 2003. Based in Baltimore, MD, the guys in Angel Fallen are looking to push Heavy Metal back to the forefront and put the final bullet in the head of manufactured acts and radio rock/pop punk wannabee's. "We encompass everything we love about heavy music. The raw power, the speed, the angst and hate, it's life, man" says frontman, Rob Thompson. Angel Fallen recorded their debut release in April of 2004 entitled 'The Art Of Suffering.' "Our songs represent our feelings on the world today, whether it be religion, government or just human interaction." says, bassist, Spencer Jozwiak. The CD hit like a one-two punch, with brutal tracks such as 'Leeches' and 'Suffer' to the dark and mellow, yet just as furious, cuts 'Angel Fallen' and 'Schizophrenic' and left many people on the floor, begging for more. More is what you'll get from these five men. After problems with their original drummer, it was decided in December of 2004 that they should part ways. Into the fold came a drumming machine in Jeremy Pennick from Indiana. "We were real lucky to get that cat, he had just moved here and any band could've snatched him up. He really knows what he's doing behind the kit." continued Rob. Angel Fallen is currently writing new material, which according to them is going to make TAOS look like a Pearl Jam record. These guys look poised and ready to jump right in there with the heavyweights of metal with such new songs as 'Beyond The Cold' and 'Darker Days To Come' Expect to hear a lot more from Angel Fallen in the future.
