A Near Life Experience at the moment is Bob Williams, and yes Bob knows he can't sing so he's looking for a singer.
Band/artist history
I started writing around 18 or 19 and started a band called Symplex. It was an alternative band and didn't really fit in at the time with the sound of the scene. We showed up at a time where scream rock was all there was. After Symplex i joined a punk band called General Strike. It was fun but turned out not to be my thing. So here i am today. Just recording stuff myself looking for people to join a band.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
i have played live with past bands but not with this project.
Your musical influences
Glen Phillips i would say is my biggest influence.
He was the former front man of a band called Toad the Wet Sprocket. Just the song writing skills and the voice to back it up.
What equipment do you use?
Les Paul Black Beauty, Lotus 1950 Acoustic, Fender Jazz bass, and a fender mandolin,
Recording- Br1180 digital recording studio
Hi
Back again for another listen, and to let you know ive added another song (You wear me out) have a listen if you get chance - Still liking your sound - listening to Things while typing - nice effect - the vocal could be a little more up front. keep it up
Hi just browsing around and wound up here - really enjoyed my visit - Thanks
Hey Bob. Love the tone of the music. Nice and Moody. Unfortunatly it is hard to hear the lyrics. The voice is not bad. you just have to lift it a little. (Don't Fret i have gotten the same advice numerous times) Do you have printed lyrics? O yeah and you have some cool influences. Glen is probably one of the best songwriters around today today. But over all i think this has a really good sound.
