Androgen
Androgen is compromised of three guys. Cesar A. Osorio II-Guitar/Vocals, Kerem Bursin-Bass, Austin Alexander-Drums. We are a straight up rock band we have a unique sound that most people cannot exactly term, but it is something you could hear on the radio. We come out of Sugar Land, TX and are trying our best, while we are still young, to get as far as we can.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Three best friends in a band, playing shows ranging from fifty to four-hundred people, creating a unique sound appreciated by many; this is Androgen. First begun on Labor Day of 2001, the band spent close to a year writing and polishing material. Androgen held it’s first show May 17, 2002 at a Stafford venue called LazerRage. Drawing a crowd of close to 150 people Androgen’s catchy style was well received. Androgen continued to write and their music evolved into something that not many can classify as just one style or genre. Androgen concerts also remained consistent drawing more and more people into their fan base with each show. Shows have been played at numerous locations such as Cardi’s, Fuel Cyber Café, and several other venues. In addition, Androgen has also been chosen two years in a row to play at a city-wide music festival called Teenstock. Androgen released their first CD as a five-song demo on March 27, 2004. After just three days they had sold over 100 copies. Androgen looks to the future with hopes of expanding their territory, increasing their popularity, and as a whole entertaining all people. In short, Androgen is all about loving music and its effect on the people who listen to it.
