Amy that's priceless!!! I listened to it 2 more times and hear the part with the spit; I thought it was a hiccup... LOL
My favorite line is "when I'm feeling blue" that's too much LOL, What a great keepsake for you, and your family.
Even at 6 or 7, you could carry a tune, and it sounds like you had your breathing down also. Quite a cute picture also. I can't wait to bring the CD with me for my sister’s kids to hear. She'll get quite a kick out of it also. A great bonus!!! Was that a play you were in?

How cute, it was worth the wait! Is that you singing as a kid, or the young girl on the cover?

Hey Amy,
I knew some of the lyrics were based on Scripture, but admit that I didn't realize how much. I'll pay more attention to that. Maybe I should rephrase the "Jennifer influence" to Jennifer's influence ;)
Regardless, you fit them in nicely.
Thanks for listening to Pam, yeah she certainly sounds like Janis. I would love to hear what she could do in a studio.
P.S. I see that hidden track you mentioned, but haven't been able to play it yet. It stops at 4 seconds, but the properties show that the song is longer. What's the combination? :)

Hi Amy,
I had a chance to take a quick run thru your CD. It's no surprise that I like it very much; I knew I would. Besides the two songs that caught my attention to your band immediately "Psalm 139" and "Truth", there are several others that stand out, and I don't hear any weak ones. The lyrics are very clever (must be the Jennifer influence), and the vocals are great thru-out. The tracks that stood out on first listen (not including the others on your page here) are:
"I Surrender" Great bass line, guitar and I like the many changes (even abit of reggae).
"I Am" very original, great vocals and again clever lyrics.
"Song of Solomon" - Very Peaceful.
I also like the vocal stretch of "Come Rest".
I'm sure the others will stand out even more after further listens. Overall a very peaceful album and we all know that we need more of that.
Thanks for the music,
Paul

Hi Amy,
Thanks for taking a listen and posting a comment. Your right about your band, they all are talented. Guitar/vocals is the first thing I listen for, and Chris has a Knopfler/Dave Matthews feel to his playing (to my ears). Love the solo 3:05 minute area "truth".
I see that you listened to Jenae, another favorite of mine.

Simply Outstanding!!!
"Truth" is one of those songs that make you sit back and think "who is this"??? The singing, guitar, drumming and recording is top notch! I like "Fear Not" also. I will definitely be back.
