Band/artist history
Endeavors: Vocalist, lyricist, songwriter. My professional career started in 1999 shortly after I moved to the Cincinnati, OH area. My first collaborative project was called Dulcify, a combined effort with Erik T. Lawson (currently recording under the name Monologue in Pennsylvania). A darkwave sound, our fans were of global region due to the massive downloads of our songs over Napster. My second and most recent project is titled Elation, a spinoff of muteelation, the instrumental arrangements by Matt Parmenter. A brighter/pop-rock style than Dulcify, our fans are mostly from the regions of Canada and Europe and classify our music as electronica with sub genre's: trip hop, electro pop, indie, and leftfield. After receiving an offer from a Cincinnati, OH label for a 'full ride' CD package, Elation split up. We are currently back together, working on even more 'interesting' tunes and hope to finish the album sometime within the next year. If you liked the Elation music before, wait until you see what is in store for our debut CD release. Currently, I am working on my first full-length 'solo' CD with Kent Meloy of IoPA Records out of Cincinnati, OH. In this project, Kent is not only acting as a producer but as a co-musician. Kent is a wonderful musician who started playing the guitar in 1977 and produced his first CD in 1989. Oodles of experience, dedication, and creativity, we are perfectly meshing together laying down 9 songs in just one month! Kent also has a working band called Staring at The Sea which you can find online as well. Kent's guitar style has been compared to the sounds of Cocteau Twins - spacey, unrealistic; it gives you goosebumps. Web Collaborations Currently In Progress: I am currently working with Shanna (also located here at soundclick) on a musical journey still undefined. Of course it will be mostly dark, that is what comes to us, but with catchy hooks and chorus - everyone will be bobbin their headz. We hope to take this stuff to the stage! Keep on the lookout and check both of our sites for constant song updates. What happens when you get two strong female vocalists on the mic? We are soon to find out...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. Cincinnati, OH area. All shows have been 'special events' from huge festivals to holidays to playing at the 5 star 'broadway-ish' theater Playhouse In The Park at their showcase of local music performers during their off season called 'alter-active'.
