Amorin del Mar
AMORIN DEL MAR (former FATAL METALMARK) is an electroacoustic project initiated in 2009, in an attempt to experiment with unconventional musical routes through elements of vocal improvisation, parody, ambient and Gebrauchsmusik of sorts.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I was born with music in my head. Cannot imagine life without making music or listening to music. Started with just my voice, then at about 15 with an acoustic guitar and my voice. Around 2007-2008 I began experimenting with technology, which was a radical milestone and turning point. Now I make most of my music on the computer, combining synthetic and physical sounds and using my own voice as a musical instrument. I also make my own album covers and video clips, as well as for friends.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have given a few singing recitals, solo or with others. Also read at book presentations and other events. Never had stage fright. I love performing for audiences.
