Since taking the Cleveland music scene by storm in early 2000, americanrockstar has earned a reputation as one of the regions most electrifying bands. ARS consistently captivates audiences, turning the heads of radio listeners and critics alike. With their powerful blend of raw, yet focused vocal and guitar-driven rock, ARS has found their niche with those listeners who crave both emotion-provoking pop and cutting-edge modern music.
Both americanrockstar's 2001 self-titled independent debut album and 2002 live album, now on rotation on several college and commercial stations throughout Ohio, have been extremely well-received by rock lovers of all ages. ARSs rock show-style approach to performances and unforgettable songs have cultivated a large, dedicated fan base, and have made the band a staple on Northeast Ohios two most popular modern rock radio stations (Akron's 88.9 FM WSTB and Cleveland's 92.3 FM "Extreme Radio" [WXTM/Infinity Broadcasting]), both of which frequently feature the band as an on-air guest.
Currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their highly anticipated sophomore studio album and regularly packing Clevelands best venues, the members of americanrockstar (vocalist/guitarist Dallas Riffle, guitarist Joe Brannan, bassist Derek Sutcliffe and drummer Scott Sykora) are poised to rise to a new level with their knock-out combination of attitude, energy, showmanship, and undeniable songs.
Whether you watch ARS in concert or hear them on your stereo, it's obvious that you are not only taking in an extraordinary performance... you are experiencing best friends doing what they love most.
