Fired from the belly of original hard rock and back breaking wages of physical labor, AMERICAN DOG are the authentic shot-gunned heart of rock-n-roll.Hard work, hard livin', no sleep: grease 'em up with a couple 'o cases of the brown elixer of life, shoot it all towards the bright lights of a nasty club, and your gonna see an explosion of classic drinkin' mans metal that is going to leave the headliners shakin' their boots. It's loud, it's lewd , and so live you can taste the metal.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band is based in Columbus , Ohio. Michael Hannon (bass, lead vocals) has played with Dangerous Toys and was a founding memeber of Salty Dog. Steve Theado, was in several Columbus bands before teaming up with Mike and Keith Pickens (drummer) who has played with sevral Columbus bands as well, and was once offered a spot playing with Hank Williams Jr. , but had to decline due to a new addition to the family. Thus the formation of American Dog.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we do! Ohio, Indiana, Canada, Michigan. We are open to playing anywhere. We love music and we love playing live.
