Amelia Keating-Isaksen
The band consists of me and my guitar.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well, not much history. Started playing guitar at twelve and started writing songs the same year. Recently I just started going "public," if that counts.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played mostly at friend's houses, small-big get togethers, but the only real "shows" I've done would include talent shows and shows for little kids. But I'm getting there.
Your musical influences
Well, I listen to absolutely everything, but if I had to narrow it down to those whom I've listened to and gotten inspiration to write, they are - in no particular order - Jewel, Jonathan Edwards (the singer/songwriter, not the vice president candidate), Iron & Wine, James Taylor, and Keating-Jones (which happens to be my uncle's group).
What equipment do you use?
Just my guitar. If you'd like to know, it's an Epiphone Acoustic Hummingbird.
