Ambient Music Cartel
We are a pop/rock band that is currently based out of Oklahoma City. We conecentrate on putting out music that has universal appeal with plenty of hooks. Every member has the kind of talent that would make a lesser band. Throw it all together and you get something that stands out above all the rest.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We have just completed our second album, "Going Nowhere". This latest recording was produced at F5 in Oklahoma and mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC. The sound quality on this album blows most of the records I have purchased in stores out of the water (not to mention the music). Check out this album and you will not be disappointed!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Play out every weekend. Areas in OKC metro area range from Bricktown to Norman. Play in Tulsa some as well. Check www.ambientmusiccartel.com for updated schedule.
Your musical influences
Every member brings a different background to the table. Would take more time to write/read all the influences than either you or I would wish to spend.
What equipment do you use?
We prefer quality over quantity. Way too much gear to list here.

The name is a misnomer but it has stuck over the years.
