Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well we started off pretty much freestyling our way out of party circles. My Friends Kill Things, DJ DZ1, DJ Deeborg, DJ Dislexican and my brothers Alphabet and Voorhiez. Basically we were tired of the type of music, specifically in the hip hop and rap genres, that seemed to flood the market. Much of the uninspired dribble is really what fueled us to create our oun sound and it pretty much set us apart. Me and Deasy (dj DZ1) began actually writing songs accordingly to beats we would make at the end of 2004 into 2005. The songs derived from an "old fashioned" 202, and would use Dislexican's zoom 8 track to put stuff together all in a tiny backroom studio at the edge of the Las Crucian ghetto. Fast forward to today, I am compiling beats myself on the MPC (f***ing love that machine) and am always ready to put in some work with my talented entourage... speaking of which DZ1, Dislexican & my boy Pervee have a show 8 to 10 every thursday night on KRUX 91.5. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live, its the greatest! we smoke the set like 'dro in a 'rillo.
