Altarego (US)

Altarego is a nationally released and touring hip hop artist who has been at his craft for 14 years. His hip hop does not copycat any other artist on the market as he looks deep within and high above to give it that extra edge to make it stand on its own...the beats bang and the lyrics speak and you can't help but find yourself bobbing your head to it whether you want to or not :) To this date, Altarego has graced tracks on over 75,000 CD's as an independent artist and has performed over 1000 times. Shock N Awe is the upcoming release slated for late summer/early fall 2008. It will feature Sony recording artist Nina Ross, Gotee recording artist Manchild of Mars Ill, Atlantic Records artist K-Lee, Warner Brothers artist Antonio Neal, and many more to be announced. Production credits include Doc Watson, Shoc, Son of Mack, Ozone, Shadowville, Def Entertainment, and Eddie B. Altarego won independent rap artist and independent song of the year in 2002 as named by U C Bands. Altarego's music can also be heard on ESPN 2 and the INSP Network if you have cable or satelite television. His credits also include a cameo in DC Talk's video, "My Friend So Long" and appearances on Pulse TV and The Underground. Matt of Altarego also spent time as a radio DJ and Sports commentator, winning four national broadcasting awards. In addition he had a reoccuring role in the regional TV show, "The Whatever Television Show."
