Al, I just listened to Falling Apart, and it's now my favorite by you.
Excellent work, and my wife likes it too.

Hello there Al.
Don't you write any more?
We've had some mixed weather here lately, ranging from hot and sunny over 30 degrees Cel. to cold and raining, as it is today. You must be heading for better temps now that Winter is nearly over for you.
My kids are well. My son is in his last year of primary school. My daughter is doing her 2nd year at high school.
I haven't been writing anything lately. A bit like you, stacks of other and higher priorities. I work three days a week at a terrific primary school. The children are enthusiastic and I love teaching Art. Every piece is a winner. They surprise me every time.
I know this is idle chatter, but I haven't spoken to you for so long. I hope you're not neglecting your song writing. I keep looking to see if there is anything new.
Good wishes to you and your family.
Regards Di

Well, it's lovely to see/hear you're still being creative. I was afraid you'd traded in your life long interest for a job in the real world. It's great to see you can work both in to your apparent, busy schedule.
Congrats on prioritising your time and fitting in family, job and your beloved music.
Hope to hear more...very soon
Regards

Wondering if you're still around? I know you said that you didn't have time any more for writing, but I truly didn't think you could give up on it when it is so ingrained inside of you. Is it possible for you to make time? Can you give it a go? Are you still playing your music? What on earth are you doing instead? I know....family comes first (at least you have your priorities right!) ....then, "real work"....surely you have a moment for yourself?
My children are hanging out for the Christmas holidays, which are only three weeks away. (They return to school, end of Jan) Jamie has just had a hand operation and can't work. He needs a break anyway, but what a way to get one.
It's a bit early to send you Christmas cheer so here's the regular and true felt greeting.
All the best to you and your family
With warm regards,
Di

I hope you don't mean that you will be giving up writing altogether. It would be a sad day for the Arts if you were to withdraw from its circle. I realise the necessity of attending to family and, of course, a real job, but maybe with some organisation you may be able to devote some time to your passion over the week.
I wish you all the best with whatever you decide to do. I am here if you want to keep in touch.

I thought you'd gone on holidays since you haven't written for close to two months.
I really like your new song. I'm amazed at your vocal range. Hope everything is well at home and if you did go away during your Summer, that a good time was had by all.
We've had some rain here and some bitterly cold mornings, but having passed the Winter solstice, our days are slowly getting longer.
My daughter is a typical new teenager and my son is still playing his sports (adding tennis to the list)
My husband is working hard and is thinking of taking some time off to go up the mountains to do some snow boarding. (Not for me though!) We've had a heap of snow in the mountains this season. Stacks of Victorians are taking the opportunity to ski.
Sorry I haven't spoken about music. I'm just having some fun in amateur musicals at the moment. (Rehearsing for Kiss Me Kate...minor part)
All the best, whatever you're doing.
Keep up the marvellous song composing.

Hello Al!
I've listened to some of your songs and I really don't know what to say.
Very creative music and lyrics and a presentation of a variety of styles and ideas. A professional production and impressing number of songs.
I come back to your page. Maybe I get the right words to say. Right now I'm just surprised and in a state of positive chock.

Gosh, how time flies. I can't believe that it was almost a month ago that I wrote!
I listened to your latest song. We had the story about the abduction in our newspapers. I cringe when I hear of things like that. I start to become over protective of my own children.
Nothing much to say really, just popped in for a visit.
Hope you and your family are well.

Hi Al,
The only trouble with your sixty second song is, it's too short...ha. It's a great novelty song, and I mean that in a nice way. I just don't get how someone can write as well as you do and not be published? What are you doing?
Now count all the words on this page.
Kind Regards

It's a great song Al. You're one of those rare people who improve with age and experience. (Sounds a bit like a good drop of red wine) So many of us become stagnant and too comfortable with our lives and fall short of our full potential. You will never be that sort of person.
I like the subtle water drops in the song. Your words tell a story without making it obvious. I enjoyed listening to it many times over. Oh, if only I was as musical as you. You are a true artist.
As for our songs, we write and play more for ourselves. We're pretty laid back and may or may not post in the future. Don't hold your breath. Although you may need to if you venture into shallow water with head under.
From your downunder friend,
Regards Di

Of course I do.
But that's not fair, I don't have a storage of songs to remix or go back to.
I'm doing other tings at the moment. Spreading my wings and trying new things. (Hey that rhymes! Can you use it in your next song? )Just kidding.
And Thank you

It's time for a new song Al. What have you been up to? (My daughter won the cross country recently. We are so proud of her) Our son is an Aussie Rules legend. Played a great game on the weekend. So, I guess we're proud of both of them.
Anyway, I expect new things from you soon.
Oh, and should I be mentioning cricket...or would that be bragging?
Seriously, keep well and best wishes to your family.
