I make beats! I love all types of music and am trying to develop as a producer/arranger/beatmaker. I just listen to music all the time and all different types and try to channel that into my new stuff... I dig and sample and arrange and mix... not much to it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been makin electronic and hip hop music for myself and local heads for 2 - 3 years. Always been sticking with it and have been getting better. Had a couple crews use my instrumentals... hopefully more people catch on to my sound as i grow.
Your musical influences
Dusty grooves... madlib tha bad kid, dilla, pete rock, waajeed +saadiq (PPP), tribe, blackalicious, slum village, pharcyde, common, kayne, doom, de la soul, prince paul for sure, talib + mos, j5, heiro crew, livin legends, 9th wonder, roots crew,.... to the old stuff i've been diggin into recently: roy ayers, david axelrod, and even some reggae has got me thinkin different... dub dudes like scientist, lee perry, prince jammy. Oh.. and shuggie otis,.... and stark reality. surreal.
