All Glory Fades

The music is a combination of influences - but right now it's in some kind of acoustic emo rock indie phase. I can't describe it - it is what is... and that's a direct reflection of me.

Right now the "band" consists of me, a bunch of guitars, a piano, some synths, and some recording equipment. I haven't played live since last summer before the big move out to California, so it's been a lot of regrouping and writing since.

Cassandra Nichole - lead everything. this music is my personal brainchild; Although I have played around with others here and there - this whole project is all me. I started writing music seriously when I was 12, but have been singing since I was 2. It wasn't until my senior year of highschool that I seriously played my own music live; and I was so nervous I barely made it. Now it's nothing to me... it comes so easily and I love sharing my voice and music with anyone who wants to hear.

not since i moved out here, but i am more than anxious to get back into things -- the recent focus has been my studio work.

Of course, my biggest influence is life itself, but Smashing Pumpkins are the reason I play. However, if it wasn't for the raw, acoustic simplicity of Dashboard Confsesional's "Swiss Army Romance" I probably wouldn't have pursued my "career" to this point. My influences run the gamut of a capella choral pieces I used to sing in choir to 80s new wave to modern emo/ punk to other rock -- It affects my melodies, my style, my words... everything I experience influenes my life, and therefore my music, in one way or another.

ProTools, 4 guitars (Mostly an Ibanez hollow-body electric and an acoustic Epiphone Hummingbird), Alesis QS8, vintage Roland Juno-106, some amps and microphones...
