This is the Progressive Instrumental Rock Band, Alice, from Newfoundland.
Basically, I was in a band, that was punk/metal, and i wanted to play some Zeppelin, so me and Brad started a Zep cover band, but then when I realised he wrote some amazingly good songs, I decided to stay as an original band, based more on our new favorite bands, Dream Theater and Symphony X and Video Game Music. We picked up Theoden on Bass and liked him, so he stayed.
Dream Theater
Dixie Dregs
Tool
Symphony X
Those are the main ones.
Well, Brad uses a Kustom 30 watt amp, connected to a home made Cabinet, and Thee plays a Washburn 75 watt.. I have Dixon Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks and Gibraltar gear. Brad has A Washburn X-50, and Thee has the Slammer by Hamer.
We love music theory and Brad enjoys using chord structure to his advantgae in our songs.
