Ali Bishop
Ali Bishop is an entertainer all unto himself. MC, instrumentalist, even quasi-dancer, he definitely doesn’t fit into the neatly defined categories of hip-hop. He raps how he wants, plays what he wants, and his only goal is honest expression; nothing more-nothing less. His musical influences range from Jimi Hendrix, to Big Daddy Kane to Michael Jackson. He is a student of music starting from the Blues and extending through to modern popular music. Each of his songs represent an aspect of his personality.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I usually play at the hottest open mic in New York City, Training Camp- Tuesdays at Club Pyramid (7th Street and Avenue A)
