Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Silvia Demetilla, Argentinean singer and composer, arrived in London in 2001. Immediately she felt music was her way of living (survive?) the big city
A new creative way was ready to start reflecting her feelings through the music, showing her interior world and transporting to whom listen to that memorys place where live together the past, the present, a new perception of the reality, the changes motivated by the circumstance of emigrating, the personal anxieties all they dyeing of certain Argentinean nostalgia evoked by her velvety and rhythmic voice. Shes also an artist (architect & designer).
"David Aguirre is an Argentinean musician and filmmaker. He lives in a derelict house in Buenos Aires turned into a personal recording studio called La Panadería. Sometimes he believes hes J.D.Salinger living in South America. And who knows
Silvia and Davids diverse background and individual style created Alasvals
Although the distance between London and Buenos Aires, they decided to keep working together: Silvia, in writing and composing, David arranging and programming the songs.
