I've been singing cover for under a year now, but have been singing all my life. I aim to improve with each song I cover. One day I do hope to at least be known somewhere as a cover artist.Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't play live, but one day maybe.

This is not bad. Considering you took voice lessons I think you need to develop as you stated. You should do your own songs be your own person not somebody else. Regardless if you want to go pro, hobby or something in between be your best you.
