A-Jaxx aka Warren Peace: a seasoned MC/Lyricist/Song Writer/ Battle Rapper. I got my start just battling, doin the battle thing. I did that for the better part of my ongoing career, and I still do. In fact I hooked up with PMC at a local battle when I was straight roastin dudes and he holla'ed at me, and we did some music together, after that we been grindin ever since.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Like I said before I've been doin this since ... like 98-99 i was 14 when i started, you do the math. I did the battle thing, blahzay blahzay.
PMC got started way back in the day from just the 70's era and all that. Just wait till XXL interviews us or somethin, and then buy like 7 copies of that mag.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live where ever, from my front porch to cali, to boston, to new york. I love being on stage, its a blessing for me to be able to do what I do. (alhumduallah). special moments? opening for Christopher Lloyd aka Lloyd Bank$ at Bethany College, and we almost stomped the shit outta his candy ass. real talk. Aside from that just wakeing up and being able to rhyme is a special moment for me. Allah'u'Akbar indeed!
