Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ainos Band. A locally based Cebuano artists composed of naturally gifted and enthusiastic young people from the Mactan Christian Community Church, Lapu-Lapu City, motivated and inspired to the lives of the youths of this present generation through contemporary music relating to the day of the many. The group started in the year of the Lord 2001 as a group band participating in the Band showdowns in the different campuses. During the height of the Drug Awareness Campaign for high school students, the group started composing songs depicting the dangers of using drugs and encouraging students to turn their lives to our Lord Jesus. In the year 2005, a songfest was opened by a certain radio station to promote local talents, encouraging to share original song compositions to the airwaves, hence the quest begin when the group submitted the song Buwad which undeniably rocked the airwaves with outstanding support from the public for its distinct message and impact to the society. Being part of the highest record selling album Bisdak Republik, Buwad now not only reigns in the airwaves but has conquered a significant awareness to the public to face life challenges with God. To the present, the band is busy preparing for the campus tour, mall tour, and concert events. The band has also made some appearances in the different significant events based in Cebu......
