Aiden
Aidens sound is unlike any of its predecessors. Heavy riffs, fast melodic tempos infused with lyrics about the world we live in, growing up, figuring out who you are, and love lost. The punk rock and metal influence runs very deep within Aidens core. And they are very ready to let the world know that they are here. They have begun their assault on the local music seen, with a week long tour in February. Aiden is definitely one to watch out for.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
For over almost 30 years now the world has seen, and heard a million punk bands. What makes some stand out above the rest? Is it the music, the image, is it the show that each one puts on? Im not really sure. Aiden was constructed in the garage of one of its current members. Jake Wambold. The band first got its start as a three piece, With Max singing and playing guitar, Jake Davison on drums and Angel playing bass, Soon asking Jake W. to join on 2nd guitar to fill out the sound. Max soon left the band to pursue other interests'. With no singer Jake W. decided to assume the role. They recorded a four song demo but were still trying to decide what to do. They decided that they needed a singer, thats where Scott came in he practiced with them for about two months. Then Angel made the decision to switch from playing bass to playing guitar. Now with two guitars they needed a full time bass player, Scott new a guy who had played bass for another now defunct punk band "Youth at Risk". He joined the band in April and now Aiden finally had a full sound. Due to personal issues Scott had to leave the band soon after, Will from Y.A.R. joined the band, the line up was complete Jake W. on 1st guitar, Angel on 2nd guitar, Jake D. on drums and Will singing and playing bass. After a while of playing they decided that it would be better to add a bass player and be a 5 piece. That's where Nick came in.
