Ahasverus Project is a small non-profit dark ambient/experimental-project dedicated to the spread of sound art, in any media, maintained by Henrik Summanen, Sweden.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ahasverus project started as an experiment in dark ambient and experimental genres in 2005. It has not yet ended.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No live playing so far, maybe in the future.
Your musical influences
Well, both classical, modern classical and noise/dark ambient is relevant to me. Luigi Nono, Helmut Lachenmann, Giacinto Scelsi on the classical side - and Gustaf Hildebrand, Kammarheit, Henrik Nordvargr Björkk and Aube on the experimental/dark ambient side.
What equipment do you use?
At home: Cubase SE, Wavelab, free plugins
In studio: Metasynth, ProTools, Granulab
Fieldrecordings with AudioTechnicas ATM 10A
