
Afenginn
Afenginn is a new and ambitious orchestra playing live and kicking folkfusion. Funky beats, craziness, energy and wonderful melodies together with meditative and melancholic moments †a great pleasure for the audience.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The musicians in the orchestra play bass, drums, mandolin, clarinet and violin. The music is composed by Kim Nyberg (mandolin), originally from Finland but now living in Denmark studying music at the University of Copenhagen. Rasmus Krøyer (clarinet) studies music at the University of Copenhagen playing in different orchestras including philharmonic orchestra. Niels Skovmand (violin) graduated from the Royal Academy of Copenhagen, dedicated tangoplayer. Andrzej Krejniuk (bass) has connections to Poland, his field is jazzmusic played in numerous duos and trios. Rune Kofoed (drums) plays many different genres like rock, jazz, latin and afrobeats.
