6 good friends from the little town of Tofield, Alberta, Canada makes up Advent. The original 4 members, Graham Smith, Dustin Allan, Tyler L'Heureux, and Timmy Bibby, started the band "Exile" in June 2004. We started creating our first songs throughout the summer and eventually changed our name to the current "Advent of Apathy." We played our first gig in October of 2004 with Shovelfoot at the Tofield Tavern at just 15 years old. In January of 2005, Robbie Bibby and Mark Belland both joined the band as vocalist to add a 3rd and 4th dimension to our music. We are now focusing on recording our demo and playing gigs in and around Tofield.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes we do. We usually play in and around Tofield. It's good when we have actual metalheads at our show and not the usual Tofield-country-loving-hicks that just stand there and look. The best moment was when we did the "Walls of Death" at a metal show with about 300 people in attendance (it was our 2nd show).
