Adrian Garza was born in Indio California, January 23, 1985. He started singing and playing keyboard at the age of 4 and started playing in shows at the age of 8, in his fathers band. At the age 9, Adrian and his two brothers, along with his father, formed a Tejano band called Tercera Generacion. When he was 14, Tercera Generacion got signed with an Independent label. Tercera Generacion was heard throughout Tex Mex radio stations nation wide, leading them to do radio promotion and performances. Tercera Generacion first CD was nominated for "Album of the Year" at the Tejano Music Awards in San Antonio, Texas in 2000. Tercera Generacion received the First Mayor's Recognition Award from the City of Indio in 2001, for their outstanding positive influence in their community. Tercera Generacion released their second CD in May of 2002. Adrian started dancing in second grade, his teacher was Ms. Kathy Kronemeyer of the Drama club at Jackson School, and Adrian was one of the first students in Kidz Rok Dance group at Jackson School (directed by Ms. Jo Pryor). Adrian, to this day, helps Ms. Pryor in choreographing dance routines for her students. Adrian thanks Ms. Pryor for her support and influence in his dancing. Adrian also choreographed dance routines for competitions while in Drama Club at Indio High School for himself and his classmates. At age 18, Adrian wanted to follow his childhood dream that he's had. So he went out to Guitar Center, along with his family, and purchased studio equipment and learned how to use all the studio functions. He started recording, composing lyrics and songs, and choreographing dance routines, with the help of his brother, Alex Garza, composing the music for Adrian's future debut CD. Adrian has since then participated in several singing and dancing contests, winning first and second places in several of them. A big influence in Adrian's love for music and dancing, after his family influence, has been Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Latin singer Chayanne. Adrian has become well known in his hometown by promoting and performing at local events, to name a few, at Coachella Valley High School he was a guest during their yearly talent show. He also performed at the River during the Kaleidoscope event, this event was put together by the Palm Desert Arts under the direction of Shea New. He also had the chance to show his talent, style, and love for his music at the yearly talent show, OPEN CALL, held at The McCallum Theater. He has participated in Open Call for the past three years, winning second place the third year! He was able to capture the senior crowd as well as the young. At this time, Adrian at the age of 21, is preparing for his performance for the fourth time at Open Call. This performance will be at a higher level, adding more of a theatrical show, including dancers. Open Call will be held in May 5 and 6 of 2006. Every opportunity Adrian gets to be on stage and show what he has, he takes to a higher limit. 2006 is his year to shine! So be ready for the ADRENALINE he brings on stage! Adrian would like to thank Ms. Pryor for all the support she has given him during his elementary years at Jackson School and for being a great influence and support in doing what he loves to do.
