Adorian

The very beginning of “Adorian” goes back to the year 2001. As one of Berlin’s leading hardcore- metal bands “Disrespect” split up, their guitarist and main songwriter Lukas Kai decided to musically go back to his rock and metal roots and coming up with first ideas quiet fast. With the help from his cousin Adam Fisiak, who used to play bass in several funk and rock bands in Poland, he recorded the first demo cd, all instruments and vocals by himself and Adam on bass. After some more homerecordings their belief and passion for the music increased, but with Adam living in Poland, creating a band seemed a very hard task. However Lukas started to look for a drummer and guitarist, which turned out to be difficult, as he knew, that he needed talented and reliable people around him. The first guitarist he thought of was Stefan Kreslin from the old “Disrespect” days, who was interested at first, but couldn’t manage working and making music at the same time. Kai then realized, that finding a capable drummer is the next most important step to being able to form a band. After having tried out a couple of drummers, Lukas finally met Kris Gabor at a friend’s party ,who he knew from the hardcore scene. Having played for bands like “Disarey”, “Showdown” and “Toxic Lies”, Kris had a lot of experience in playing live and was very open minded to face a new musical challenge. Soon they both realized, they had the same musical and personal goals and started to record Lukas’ new songs at Kris’ own homerecording studio. That way the process of writing and recording songs became much faster and they got a real impression of the “Adorian” sound: modern, heavy, melodic and groovy rock music. With Adam coming to Berlin more regularly, there obviously was an important part missing to complete the band: an ass kicking guitar player. Someone who has always offered to help out in need was an old friend of Lukas, Ashkan Khatoun, the guitarist of “Shortage”. After hearing more of Adorians music and rehearsing together, Ashkan decided to become a member of the band, due to the very good band chemistry and musical imaginations. At last the band was completed and ready to face their goals: playing modern rock considering their musical roots and influences from all great rock n’roll generations and performing live with a strong energy and passion. Without compromising or falling into fashion trends, believing in music as a natural flow of emotions and expressions of feelings “Adorian” are working hard to establish their sound in the big world of rock music.
