I am a solo performer/ vocalist. I also play classical guitar and write and compose my own songs. I have had the opportunity to record a couple of songs at a studio. One of them which is called 'maa' is dedicated to my mother back home in Pakistan.
The other song 'Aankhein' is the story of a man who has lost everything and ponders over what the world is coming to and why people have changed the meaning of life.
Hopefully ill be composing new songs and uploading them once they are recorded.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, playing live gives you a whole different feel. There is nothing like singing live for an audience who actually enjoy listening to classical oldies and even ghazals.
Your musical influences
I am an ardent fan of Kishore's and Rafi's. I have always been inspired by classical music, raagas and ghazals and i mostly listen to Jagjit Singh and Hariharan. Lately I have been listening to Fuzon and Ahmed Jehanzeb. I feel their music depicts a great deal of depth and emotion. Last but not least I am all praises for Sonu Nigam who is gifted with a talent not many posses.
