Addison Alley

When I'm not playing music for my other band, Rendered Useless, I write my own songs on the side. Enjoy!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Addison first started out playing guitar (and sometimes bass) for the Albuquerque, NM, punk band Mumbling Miles (www.soundclick.com/mumblingmiles), but once he moved to Cordoba, Argentina, he was forced to leave the band. While in Argentina, he began to write and record his own music, (including "The Four Year Waiting Game", "Baja Utah", and "Same Old, Same Old"). When he moved to Beavercreek, OH, two years later, he met Eric Johnson and together they began Rendered Useless (for which he writes all the music and cowrites the lyrics with Eric). He still writes music on his own time, most recently completing "By Associaition" and "4 Hours, 21 Minutes, and 55 Seconds". He plans to remaster his older songs sometime in the near future. Addison also composes classical music as a hobby, most recently finishing "Eight Decades", written for piano and string orchestra.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I perform wherever I can.
